7 Continents on Earth And Amazing Facts You Need to Know About.
This Article will take you to the real world and I am honored to be part of your this journey as a Guide or an explorer of the world.
I am going to talk about the amazing and exciting facts about our Planet.
As we know we are living on the planet called Earth and we also know that we are surrounded by many things but basically, these things are divided into two parts that are Water and land.
Water means Ocean which is 71% approximately of the total area I guess maybe I’m wrong for this and the second one is Land which is included human living land where we live and Forrest, Mountain, Desert and many more.
I would be talking about land. I would love to talk about the ocean and another thing but not now, maybe sometime later.
So the best way to remember about this earth is to make two segments, one is the Ocean and another is Land.
Firstly I am gonna talk about Continents only.
Continents of the world
This article will show you lots of incredible, interesting, unbelievable and unknown amazing facts about all the continents of the world.
Why I am here…
I’m here not to educate or teach you anything but just to tell you something which can be beneficial and knowledgeable for you people and me too.
To know anything about the history we take reference of past or something that related to past but we are never able to get full or depth knowledge about that thing.
We always study whatever we are given, influenced to read or suggested to know but we never try to find the root or permanent way of understanding or recognizing the truth.
I know, every individual has a different way of thinking and perceiving the world differently, I too have different and trust me it’s really different and unique.
To know this world which is really complex and complicated but trust me it’s not too difficult to understand, we just all need to have something to understand these things and I have that Kind of things to make easy understanding of our world, which is full of communities, countries, religions, borders and many more.
I may have less knowledge in front of you and I’m not perfect and even I am not here to compete or compare with anyone’s knowledge and awareness but to share some knowledge. Since I love to share things differently and I am trying to be a full-time blogger so this is my first endurance and way of expressing my knowledge and understanding.
Amazing to know facts about seven continents
Land includes seven continents and the best way to understand these continents are to be categorized into several things like famous things, place, areas, nature, history, etc.
I will be talking about these continents separately later so that I can show you the real world as per my understanding.
These continents are surely full of amazing facts and famous things which are related to past, which means we can easily understand the history of human evolution, culture, religion, communities, and later how these continents are diversified, globalized, mobilized and united.
Every continent has its own rules, regulations, governance, specialization, and history.
These continents are democratic, autocratic, dictatorships, kingdom-ship.
Though Culture, religion, casts, colors and many things are different from each other’s the people and the countries are more United, supportive, and most importantly peaceful.
People from many continents and countries can migrate in other continents and countries with the permission of the government of those continents and countries.
Many people immigrate or move to the other continents and the countries because of many reasons like education, traveling, working, permanently living, or any business activities.
So we’re having seven continents which are Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe last but not least Australia.
These seven continents are classified to understand easily.
Asia is the world’s largest and most populous continent.
The total population is over 4.4 billion and covered almost sixty percent of the total population of the world, because of the reason that Asia has the most populated countries in the world including the China, and also the world’s largest country, Russia.
Africa is also the world’s second most populous continent. Africa is one of the most diverse places on the planet with a wide variety of terrain, wildlife, and climates, it covers 6% of Earth’s total surface area and 20% of its land area.
North America is the World’s third-largest continent – 24,474,000 km² covering approximately 16.5% of the Earth’s land and 5% of the Earth’s surface.
South America is one of the seven continents on the planet.
The Pacific Ocean borders South America to the west, and the Atlantic Ocean borders it to the east. The Caribbean Sea and the North American continent lie to the northwest.
Antarctica Is one of the most extreme environments on earth.
The ice really holds many secrets to understand the climate on the other planets.
Antarctica is, on average, the windiest place on earth. Scientists exploring this southerly landmass have reported wind speeds that have reached up to 200 miles per hour.
Europe includes fifty-one countries, and Most of these countries are developed countries with the European Union as the biggest economic and political union in the world.
World’s most varied continents in terms of culture, history, and geographical diversity
Europe is the World’s second-smallest continent
Australia or Oceania Continent
Australia is the six largest countries in the world in terms of land mass
The entire country of Australia includes the Australian continent and numerous islands off the coast of the continent.
Amazing Facts too…
There was six continents model also which was classified to be better understanding about the continents.
The first six-continent model (used mostly in France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Romania, Greece, and Latin America) groups together
North America+South America into the single continent- America or the Americas.
The other six-continent model (mostly used in Russia, Eastern Europe, and Japan) combines together
Europe + Asia into the single continent -Eurasia
There is also the five continents model to get a better knowledge of the world:
This model has adopted the criteria of both the six-continent models, resulting in these continents:
Africa, Eurasia, America, Oceania (or Australia), and Antarctica.
An alternative five-continent model is the one adopted, among others, by the Olympic Charter, which excludes Antarctica as uninhabited and lists the following five: Africa, Europe, Asia, America, and Oceania (or Australia).
There were four continents model too and this would probably be the correct subdivision if these were adopted a strict definition of continents, and defined as large landmasses separated by water.
However, we can understand and consider separated only what is naturally separated, excluding therefore the separations resulting from the artificially made Panama Canal (which separates North and South America) and Suez Canal (which separates Africa from Eurasia).
Under this model, the four continents of the world are Afro-Eurasia or Eurafrasia, America, and Australia (not Oceania, which combines Australia with smaller countries in the Pacific Ocean which are separated by water), and Antarctica.
We just can’t skip by letting these continents into only seven facts or famous things since our Planet is full of amazing and exciting things to be explored so when I’ll be talking about countries separately I would love to share all those amazing and interesting things.
